Star-Crossed takes place on a fictional version of Earth wherein Heaven and Hell are entirely real places, and the beings from both realms are commonly known to make the mortal plane their battleground. The convergence point for all three planes is in the mortal city of Verona (where we lay our scene). The heavenly beings parallel the Montague family from the Shakespeare classic, whereas the demons parallel the Capulets. Each realm is known for having a particular predisposition toward a certain type of music; for the angels, this means classic rock, but the devils like it quite heavy.

At the head of each side are God (Lord Montague) and Satan (Lady Capulet). The two of them have a troubled, complicated past which plagues the citizens of Verona on a constant basis. Under their respective households we find our two main characters, Romeo and Juliet. Romeo is a goody two-shoes type of guy who, thanks to his friend Mercutio, has been getting into some of that sweet heavy metal music of which the Capulets are so fond. Opposite him, Juliet is a misunderstood young demon who puts on a tough facade, but is in truth quite an innocent romantic type. Neither of the two young lovers has a stellar relationship with their parent, and this tension will prove to be a driving force for their tragic love.

Featuring a live 4 piece band rocking out to music by Metalica, Meatloaf, Dio, Bon Jovi, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and more!
