Overlanders: One Woman's Tale Of Life On The Oregon Trail

November 11th @ 7:30pm

November 12th @ 7:30pm

November 13th @ 2:00pm & 7:30pm

This show began in 2013 as a comedic "Choose Your Adventure" tale about life on The Oregon Trail for elementary school audiences. It was told in Commedia Dell'Arte mask, incorporating elements of the 1990's video game 'The Oregon Trail'. It toured to Seattle Fringe in 2014. While creating the show, we realized that the Settlement of the American West is synonymous with the decline of The North American Indian. As theatre makers we were inspired to go deeper than the traditional American Colonial narrative. At the same time, we wanted to maintain the comedy, lightness and folly of Commedia Dell'Arte, and keep it family friendly. We believe we've done it.  This show is the culmination of three years of wrestling with this topic on the part of so many people. Your presence and feedback are sincerely appreciated. Come tell us what you think. Now is the time: We are the ones we've been waiting for.

Tickets are $15/at the door. Families are Welcome. Sliding scale available for Seniors, Students & Artists, ask for details at the Box Office.
